Point of Growth is a new charitable organisation established to strengthen social resilience and inclusion for the residents of Manchester. Operating as a Charitable Incorporated Organisation (CIO), we provide a vibrant community hub offering essential services, activities, and space for connection. Our core purpose is to provide facilities in the interests of social welfare for recreation and leisure time occupation, with the objective of improving the conditions of life for the residents of Manchester. We target vulnerable groups, including isolated older people, immigrants and refugees, and disadvantaged youth.

Our Mission
Our mission is to enhance social welfare by offering facilities and opportunities for recreation and meaningful engagement, with the ultimate goal of improving the quality of life for people across Manchester. We place a particular focus on supporting vulnerable and underrepresented groups including immigrants, refugees, isolated older adults, and disadvantaged young people. Our aim is to help them build confidence, connection, and a stronger sense of community.

A Home For Volunteers And Neighbours Alike
Our strategic plan focuses on supporting volunteers. Volunteers assist with projects, such as trained helpers providing mentorship and encouragement for the swimming programme. Volunteers receive a budget expense.
